I was looking at promise rings at 3 in the morning and praying to god about you. i haven’t prayed to god since my granddad died. praying for your health, for your safety. that we make it. that it’s us in the end. it’s been almost a year now and i think maybe you’ll stay. we’ll see about the promise rings. we’ll see. give it time, you know? i’ll give it time and pray and do my best to become better than i was the day before, someone worthy of myself. someone as good and kind as you are.
